Ah...the beginings of the wonderful gaming realm we now know as the RTS, Real-Time Strategy. Gotta love it. Command and Conquer offers classic RTS action. You gather your resources, build your army and set your defenses. The best part is the strategy part of it. I feel that C&C set the benchmark for the rest of the RTS industry to follow. It was also the parent to one of the best series ever. It was one of the first PC games I owned and the best part was, it was easy to understand and easy to control. As for the techs of the game, what really can be said? The technology of the day wasn't the best so you can't really compare the graphics to todays games. For the day tehy were okay i suppose. The music was addictive but repetative. The gameply was awesome and was an RTS that actually focused mostly on the single player game rather than the multiplayer. Great game that everyone should have somehwere in their collection!
