The original Red Alert is the first game that I've played on the computer. This game lives up to its origins and exceeds my expectations of what I thought it was going to be. The graphics are much improved from the old command and conquer, also there is some awesome additions. I enjoyed the expansion of teams and weapons compared to the last game. These additions and the much improved campaign mode make the game highly addictive for the strategy gamer. Another excellent feature to the game is the more variety of maps that you get in skirmish mode. The only flaw that I had with the game was that it gets boring really quick if you play it too much. I gave the game 8.5/10 because It was a much improvement from the first command and conquer game but behind all the new features it was the same game as the first, so no real step forward from the old. Nevertheless, old or new the command and conquer series is on of the best strategy game series.
