A decent game from start to finish.

User Rating: 7 | Chronos Twins DS
This review is based on the DSiWare version of the game.

The story of Chronos Twins is pretty simple. An alien planet is being attacked by a different alien race. In order to fight back, they send out someone who is capable of defeating these aliens. Though the story is simple, the gameplay differs from other games, offering a unique experience. You control two characters, with one on the top screen and one on the bottom screen, while moving through platforms and obstacles in your way. The characters' movements are in sync with each other, but you control their weapons with different buttons. Further in the game, the game allows you to stop one of the characters so the other can progress through an obstacle. As you progress, the puzzles become more challenging, but most of the challenge I found in the game was watching two screens simultaneously. The graphics are pretty decent, with the game utilizing 2D visuals. I didn't really pay any attention to the music, which means that it wasn't anything special. You won't really need to notice the graphics or the music because most of what's good about this game is the feeling you get from completing a fairly difficult stage. Overall, at only $5, I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a challenging puzzle and platform experience.
