how could you do this to castlevania
graphics - The graphics are good for gameboy standards. I think.
They look pretty good but trying to play this on anything other than the GBA SP or the super gameboy it looks terrible because of the lack of a back light. Actually it looks pretty bad on the SP because of the small screen.
sound - This sounds pretty good but the sound is restricted by the gameboy's limitations and this is problem is only so so fixed when played on a super gameboy.
gameplay - Now this part sucks. You move so slow and it's just boring. One of the worst parts is that they replaced the sub weapons with little orbs that upgrade your whip. Now that would have been pretty good but ONE HIT takes it away.
So slow, no sub weapons, a poor substitute for the sub weapons, and that along with the crap jumping and the fact that the game is FULL OF PLATFORM JUMPING.
special charm - portable castlevania (although that's counter acted by the crap factor that you could see on the TV commercials)
final feelings - Possibly the worst castlevania game right next to simon's quest and most of the 3D games.
foot notes: Now it IS fun to play but only a few parts are fun that pretty much being maybe a level or 2 and maybe all the boss battles.
