There's only one thing to say about this game, and it's that it may very well be the single finest 2D platform game ever. Viewtiful Joe, as great a game as it is, has got nothing on this title. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a triple threat. Not only is it a great action game, but it also has RPG elements. And for Castlevania fans, it's simply the greatest, most beautiful Castlevania game ever. If anything, it's got THE best video game soundtrack, period. Dozens of different, brilliantly composed tracks await the player. And the scope of this game is astonishing. Hundreds of powerful enemies, dozens of weapons and powers, and numerous stages and rooms can be found in this game. And just when you think you've beaten the castle, you've got to do it all over again. The english acting is a little substandard, but the story is still engaging, and none of this hardly matters for such a brilliantly executed game.
