This game is hands down one of my top 5 favorite games. For one, it belongs to a long standing game series that exudes wonderful art direction; not too mention that japanese rock music set to goth instruments provides the perfect soundtrack for killing the dark lords army of evil. But this game does not come out with some flaws. I mean, this is samsara, everything has flaws in one way or another.

Perhaps the most glaring flaw comes from the games greatest strength, items. The multitude of items in this game makes exploration a fun task, but you end up walking away too over powered. By the time you get to the 2nd castle things get much easier because the main dude, Alucard, is a powerhouse by then. Well, take my advice, do a run without weapons or armor, and using no health items between save points. NOW YOU GOT THE BEST OF CLASSIC GAMEPLY AND MODERN SURREAL CASTLEVANIA.
