Castle Shikigami 2 is very fun and it borrows greatly from Galaga in so many useful ways.

This is one of my favorite Sh'mups. First let me start out with the controls. The controls are very good and it's very easy to pick up and play. Second The gameplay. The Gameplay runs at a decently fast speed and it plays out great like any other shoot 'em up would. Third, The Graphics. The Graphics are very well done. They are detailed well, the 3-D textures in the background look very detailed that it'll make you faint from joy and the animations are drawn greatly. And Finally, The Music and Sound effects. The Music is very good and the people who composed it did a really good job. It's in a very good soulful techno style which really keeps you entertained that you don't need to turn the music off. As for the sound effects, they are also good albiet a little bit strange sounding for the time but they aren't too bad. However there are a couple of flaws. One main complaint I have is the voice acting. The voice acting is just goofed up and so is their grammar. It's so improper that their phrases don't even match what they're saying. Another problem is the difficulty. It's kind of a tough game and is DEFINETLY not for beginners. However, If you can get past the bad voice acting and frustrating levels, Castle Shikigami 2 will make you feel right at home.
