Nice looking 16 bit old-skool graphics side-scroller with plenty of satisfying gore and intuitive puzzles. The game map, however, is horrendous. There is no clear waypoint (let alone a map you can bring up) directing you where to go next, so once you start getting lost it can be insanely frustrating and tedious to get back on the "right" path. YouTube walkthroughs are a near must unless you have a photographic memory or love wasting hours scurrying around with no clear direction.
Keyboard/mouse controls were fine. 100% stable.
