Absolutely Criminal!

User Rating: 6 | Calling All Cars! PS3
I bought this thinking it was going to be shed loads of fun and that is going to be the best game on PSN. Wrong.

I does look brilliant, the visuals are crisp and cartoony and the comedic effects are hilarious, all in all it is presented brilliantly and is let down by the lack of substance and actual game available for what you pay.

Simple idea - catch the crim and stick him in the click, with a CTR twist of roackets and giant mallets to beat the crap out of competitors and bag the prize for your own greedy mits.

Single player isn't worth a look at all, it's boring and no fun whatsoever, yeah you unlcok a few cars and a level or something but nothing so exciting that your eyeballs will burst out your sockets and hit the TV screen.

Multiplayer is where the real meat is, OK the meat of say a small rabbit or perhaps a badger. With two people playing the game does excite and it does entertain, it all does have you sitting at the edge of your seat in utter madness, shouting at the screen and panicing on where the hell the crim is. Bum-clentchingly exciting.

However the charm does wear off as much as the novelty of a Nintendo Wii. The charm of the cute graphics isn't enough to distract you from the repetitive nature an the tiny, wee cars that you can't see sometimes or keep track of.

Overall, Calling All Cars! is hysterically enteraining for the first hour and then it just sits to rot on your hard drive. Abbreviate the game's name and stick a K on the end and that's what it ends up being... CACK.
