Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was a decent follow up to the last Modern Warfare.
The story takes off from were it ended in the last game taking you through a bunch of action but isn't much different than what you already done. The mode is also very short in this game it will only take around five hours on normal possibly a bit longer if you go hunting for the Intel in each level. The story has many unexpected turns that other people did not like and it may surprise you.
Other than the story there is spec ops missions again like the prequel which are fun but not quite good enough to come back too. Also a survival mode which turned out ok but I think they could have added a lot more things to it like a way to make your weapons better other than attachments since they just kept getting better and better armor. You can play both modes offline with a friend or online with a complete stranger which is a good way too make the modes a bit more entertaining than playing solo.
The multiplayer is what you would expect having several overpowered guns that need to be weakened and underpowered ones that need upgraded. It can be fun most of the time but if you don't have a clan and you face one it could turn out bad for you since most of the time these players play the game daily and some have elite an application that can even show you all the spawn points in the levels so that you could spawn kill people like crazy.
Elite was a good idea but when you get in a match with one it just sucks for players that don't have it. There are new game modes added to the game which are fun like kill confirmed which discourages camping and face off mode with very few players in a match. There also was a prestige token feature new in this game were you can get a token to either keep a gun, get another custom class, or double exp for a couple hours which was neat. You can also get double exp from Doritos or mountain dew.
If you want the game I suggest that you try and find yourself a clan so that when you face them they won't have a big advantage over you. Get elite if you can afford or just avoid it if you cant Modern Warfare 3 is a good game but it can upset you at times when you are online.
