This is not an FPS game, its a show at which the player is more of a spectator than a participant. Its a QTE not an FPS.
Follow a white dot on screen, shoot at some enemies (or let your buddies do it), watch a cutscene, then follow another white dot, push some buttons according to the message on screen, watch another cutscene, push some more buttons as the screen indicates....rinse and repeat.
The gameplay is a lot more QTE (quick time event) than it is FPS.
Yeah the graphics are great, but given you are strictly on tracks, the graphics are more of a wallpaper, just a nice background to look at while you stupidly press some buttons as indicated on the screen and follow a white dot direction.
Special mention goes to the cheese and the cliche overload, without the super cheap and overdone "american army coolness" cliches i maybe could have been more immersed in this...show, because by all means there is no real gameplay here so why call this thing a game?
Its a form of entertainment yes, but a game? Not so much.
CoD tries hard to make the player feel like participating in a military mission, but it does so by throwing up a show at which the player is more of a spectator than a participant.
If that doesnt bother you, than you will enjoy it.
This title could provide good entertainment for certain players, but if you are looking for actual FPS gameplay, or interaction, or free roaming. you wont find any here.
Its strictly a follow the dot, click the right buttons and watch the show type of design.
