It's different than MW2. Give it a couple of hours and you'll start to get in the groove. Maps are bigger than MW2. Very reminiscent of World at War. It's a good game. Here's the bad part. It's not modern warfare = no Barrett, no SCAR, no TAR, no Javelin...etc. It's a good game but I think MW2 will still keep a following. It's very Treyarch. Creepy music, Dark settings, rappers as Colonels. I love it but I loved World at War. If you didn't love World at War, I'd just keep playing MW2 for awhile until the price drops and you can get it for $40. They only printed about 700,000,000 of these so there will be other copies to be had cheaper.
