The Big Red One is another attempt to milk the CoD franchise and shamelessly tells the player exactly that.

When my brother brought home TBR1 I was needless to say...disappointed in his choice. But all the same, when he was finished i worked my way through the game on normal.

To be fair, the game is better then Finest Hour. It has very nice sound effects, decent 1-time body physics, and plenty of guns to choose from. But the level design is at best.......lackluster. The same old garbage.

go here, defend this, follow this, blow up this, repel this assualt.

Maybe the designers don't realize...I DON"T WANT TO BE ON THE MACHINE GUN ALL THE TIME.

While the tank missions and the single Flying Fortress mission provide an escape from tedium, they still don't deliver on quality or quantity.

The fact is, TBR1 just didn't do it for me. The models are getting old and clunky, and the fact that you can't kill an enemy when they are in the middle of a common animation like throwing a grenade or jumping a fence is super-frustrating.
