its a flawed funtional hunting game that is fun at times

The last hunting game I played was Cabelas Deer Hunter 2005 for my ps2 and i enjoyed that game. So see how this game allows you to hunt elephants, lions, rhinos etc. how could this game go wrong. Well let me tell ya: My first complaint is that its not as in depth as the Deer Hunter one I played where you got to choose all your gear and camo and pick a nice location where you want to hunt. Then you were provided with ATVs and snow mobiles to cross these vast maps. All this is missing from this game. You cannot customise your character and there isnt much gear to choose from. Your stuck in 1st person view which makes it tough to see how well hidden you are when your trying to sneak up on an elephant. There are a ton of invisible walls aswell. The story is ridiculous too you'll be off trying to bag a big lion and get a call that the camp is being attacked by lions!! And have to run back to fight off a bunch of lions trying to eat everyone in the camp. BUT THE biggest flaw of this game is you will constantly be attacked by random other animals while you try to hunt the main one your after. For instance your trying to hunt a huge elephant your sneaking up covering your self in scent and outta no where a pack of lions of hyenas will attack you like 4 at once! Or a pack of wolves, or and aniconda or crocodiles or jajuars. This becomes annoying and will often distrat or frighten the main animal you've come to hunt. Despite all the flaws of this game, there is some fun to be had hunting giant elephants or rhinos and all the other big game animals in the game I'm still having fun with it just wish it had the depth the old games on ps2 and xbox had.
