Overall, a nice gaming experience.

I bought this one with a little hesitation after the Dangerous Hunts 2 disaster... This game is definately better than DH2. The player has more of a free range of exploration. The weapon choices are better and the animal variety is better. On top of that, there are more game modes and a moderate level of replay value. So the question arises... What the hell happened with Dangerous Hunts 2???

Anyway, back to African Safari. Audio and video are decent, but nothing to brag about. The seller in this game is the variety of animals and weapons. 40 different African animals in 5 countries and a couple dozen rifles, pistols and shotguns make for some interesting diversity. Gameplay is admittedly fun and the game modes mix things up.

I would recommend purchsing this game to hunters or people interested in African wildlife. For anyone else, this is also a decent game to rent and play with your friends for a night or two.
