This coin-op conversion by Ocean France. Is one of the best arcade ports ever released on the Amiga.

Ocean France were responsible for some of the best coin-op conversions on the Amiga.

I believe Pang to be one of their finest efforts doing exactly that.

This Amiga conversion plays identically to the arcade version to the absolute tee.

The backgrounds, sprites and overall feel of the game is almost identical to the original coin-op. Only difference being that the bubbles have less colours than the arcade version.

There is very minor differences comparing the Amiga to the original arcade version.

I honestly prefer the Amiga version in the sound department comparing it to the original arcade version.

The player response is identical to the Arcade version. This game also does not experience any slow downs like a lot of the Arcade to Amiga ports that were released.

Overall, this port was very nicely put together. Considering Ocean France had to write this game completely from scratch.

As the original arcade developers would usually not supply any of the original artwork.

Basically the developers only had an arcade machine in their possession and had to rip the graphics manually or redraw the graphics straight from the screen (this process was also done with Ocean France's unreleased Liquid Kids conversion).

Ocean France did exactly that for each of their Arcade to Amiga conversions.

Excellent effort!
