Burnout revenge takes the takedown action to the next level. Is it different? Not much but its definitely much better!
What is it? It is the same game taken a bit more seriously; it has been seriously commercialized so that if someone hasn’t bought the BO3 already they should definitely get it!
Living up to a game which has received multiple GOTY awards and many great reviews, is very hard & so is making BO Revenge. The game holds the main concept of ultra high speed racing and then breaks away from its predecessor in the rules. This time around there is this thing called traffic checking in which you are allowed to hit the traffic which is in the same direction of your speeding car. But be aware that u cannot do the same to the oncoming traffic and big rigs.
There are these signature takedowns which have been explained easily for us to attempt and take, instead of the hidden ones in the BO3.
There is this new revenge attack mode which lets u fight back someone who takes u down.
In Revenge taking down is a bit harder than the original. The crash mode is also a bit harder than the original, but the fun factor has been increased. This time around u maintain a garage in which u can easily access your cars, which is an improvement.
There is this ranking system which forces you to play the same races multiple times in order for u to achieve it perfectly, this definitely enhances the life of the game.
The ranking helps unlock further game that is more races, tracks and cars etc.
The game is very rewarding as it appears to me that after almost every race you get some sort of a trophy or a car, so that’s very satisfying!
The tracks have been given a face lift and they have hidden pathways and many ramps in races. The track complexity has been seriously elevated, but the traffic checking has brought it back to normal.
The graphics have been retouched a lot; there is this constant blinding sun glare which kind of makes it harder to focus on the track. You have night time races as well. The tracks are massive and multi storied! I mean many bridges and over passes.
The sound has the same EA Trax approach, but this time around there is more than 20 tracks to choose from, and believe me its top class music to your ears.
The online and the multiplayer is again A Class. The cars crash phenomenally, they sound awesome and they handle flawlessly.
If u like the original BO3 then u should definitely get this. If u haven’t played the original then u should be ashamed!
I have been playing it ever since I got it and I don’t think any present racing game can live up to what this game delivers in terms of fun, satisfaction and game play! It’s a complete package, go get it!
