Explosions and racing, can't ask for much more than that!
The graphics are intense and the particle effects give you a really nice sensation of speed right before you hit a wall after missing a takedown. Oh yeah, the unlimited number of ways that you can see your car mangled doesn't retract from the experience. Crashing is actually one of the best parts. You might hate yourself for screwing up, but I'll be damned if you don't think right after, "wow...that was awesome".
There's a multitude of modes that you can undertake and they are all satisfying to say the least. Crash Mode...oh sweet mother take me now. I'd never owned a game like this before...you know those times where you've just experienced something, anything and you just feel absolutely satisfied afterwards? That's the feeling you get after playing Crash Mode.
I recommend this game mainly to anyone who has ever dreamed of causing $5,000,000 worth of damage to property...or if you have a destructive personality. However, if you aren't like this and just like a good racing game, then you won't be disappointed in Burnout 3 either. Tons of cars, tons of gorgeous environments, and a decent difficulty curve as you progress. Get this game...you can thank me later.
Sidenote: Mute the announcer, he gets aggravating after a while repeating the same stupid lines.
