This is what Duke Nikem forever should have been...
Duke Nukem DForever was in development for more than 14 years and turned out to be a very generic shooter, Bulletstorm is not a big innovation either, but it manages to stay fresh because of its great ammount of action, great graphics and fun moments.
You can notice the seal of EPIC GAMES by the time you see the characters, which look pretty much like the ones in Gears of War, big, strong and manly.
Weapons have some interesting fuctions, like the grenade launcher, it has an alternate fire mode taht launches a grenade taht bounces and creates some fun explosions.
Your character is equipped with an energy leash that is very useful to open your way and make some fun kills, all weapons are very futuristic and have the option of aiming with the iron sights.
Your feet are another great weapon you can use them to kick your enemies and make some combos all of this combos have fun names.
Your main character makes some jokes with lots of profanity, just like Duke Nukem, you can drink bottles and get drunk just for the fun of getting an archievement.
The graphics look amazing, run very smoothly but they trend to be a little monotonous.
If you're looking for a plain fun game, with nice graphics, lots of action and jokes, ick this one up, you won't find anything new, but you'll have lots of fun.
