Three words, Buy Brute Force. There is one issue that I would like to point out first and foremost regarding the complaints against this game on behalf of Gamespot. First of all, What do you guys have against split screen multiplayer even over system link? I have three friends that get together and have a blast while playing Halo over the internet using a piece of software called XBConnect (Do a google search). You can play any system link games (with voice if supported) over the internet even if you do not have XBox Live. The system link multiplayer support is the main reason I have anticipated Brute Force so much. Even though multiplayer XBox live support is not included I will still be playing it on the internet via system link and a piece of software called XBConnect. As far as gameplay goes Brute Force is a blast to play. However, it is true that the squad based features are not as fleshed out as much as I would have liked. Even though the game does not force you to organize your squad effectively you greatly benefit from doing so. The Graphics in the game are nice looking but nothing to write home about. I have not had any frame-rate issues thus far with the game. The Multiplayer experience coupled with XBConnect in Halo and Brute Force are superior to any Xbox Live games on the market currently (minus voice support). The Multiplayer maps are expansive and satisfying and I hope that Microsoft will be releasing additional multiplayer maps via the Xbox live Content Download feature. Again, you must remember this game is NOT Halo. However, it does provide a unique and satisfying experience. I recommend any Xbox owner to purchase the game.
