User Rating: 9.4 | Brute Force XBOX
Brute Force lives up well to the overwhelming hype that it's been generating. First and foremost, why does GameSpot think it's a bad thing to have split-screen multiplayer? I usually totally agree with reveiews that GameSpot posts about games. They are generally right on the mark, and I appreciate how tough they are on games they review. But, for people like me, who can't use XBox Live, because broadband isn't available to me, system-link games that allow you to have 4 players on 1 Xbox is heaven-sent to me and my friends. That's one of the greatest things about halo to us, we can get together, and 8 of us can play on 2 xboxes. Back to the game itself. The campaign mode is extremely addictive. Me and 2 of my friends played it until the wee hours of the night, even though we had to work this morning. The deathmatch is great as well, granted it's not as good as Halo, but a definate welcome addition to my collection. In closing, I would definately reccomend Brute Force to anyone who owns an XBox, in fact you owe it to yourself to play this game. Especially if your one of those people like me who have been following the progress of the development like I have. It was worth the wait.
