Oooh, when did I play this, i remember it came as a demo with the official ps magazine back in the day and i wanted to buy it almost immidiately after playing the demo, it was ultra charming with lovely 2d graphics and easy on the ear dittys, the action opens immidiately and you are immersed into this game for the long haul....
The game opens with a huge explosion outside a coffee shop on a parisian walkway, a clown is seen leaving the seen of the crime (really!)

George stobbart just ca'nt mind his own bloody business can he, just keep walking george, move along now, CLOWN? what bloody clown? I never saw no bloody clown! Thats what he should have said but George being George had to stick his big bloody nose in..

That said the game moves along a a steady pace (unless you get stuck on one particular part) and you feel as if you are George Stobbart immersed in this well put together adventure..

The game features point and click puzzles to complete, find the evidence and solve the puzzle with your inventory of items (this game retains some methodology and logic unlike discworld) the cast of charecters are convincing and charming and the setting (Paris) is ideal for the adventure, you of course inevitably end up travelling the world looking for the criminals but simultaneously immersing yourself into an unexpected and intriguing plot that plays out with the story telling genius of jackanory himself.

The game has a thick plot and an interesting cast of charecters, I personally love this style of graphics and they are very deatailed for the day, the puzzles are logical and challenging and i would reccomend this game to people who actually like a challenge in a game.
