Brink, with its many flaws is still a new outlook on fps. With its new element of a SMART system allowing you to stray from what traditional shooters bound you to. One thing that every player will notice is that lack of the A.I.'s ability to adapt/support players. When in the advertisement stage, Brink promised an responsive A.I. that would be as if you were playing with Human players.....well it would be if those human players were three years old. When discussing story they go quit in-depth contrary to what most will say. There is enough back story developed into the game that helps satisfy the campaign as well as a potentially lead to a followup game. The Gun mechanics work well and seem as a shooter should. The SMART system was one thing that helps brink step out among other shooters by allowing the players to fully (to an extent) navigate how they so choose through different terrain. Graphics in the game have lived up to expectations other than the fact that unless you are staring at an object for more than 10 secs it will just seem a blur. Objectives were one of the main highlights to this game aside from the SMART system. The objectives were well developed and implemented into this style of play in a shooter. Overall Brink has a good base, with minor flaws that can be fixed or looked past.
