Even though Brigade E5 has many unpolished sides, it is still a unique, rare and valuable gem (or was it game..).

This game introduces SPM, smart pause mode. It is the most immersive, realistic and tactical combat mode I have seen in a game and it has all good parts of turn based combat. It feels like a combat simulation and still gives you all the time you need to make your decisions. Traditional turn base combat, IMO optimized in JA2, feels old and grey compared to this dynamic, tactical system.

If you are a fan of tactical combat games you must get it. It takes some time to get used to and some parts of the game are buggy and/or badly translated. Nevertheless, buy it, play it and look out for the developer Apeiron's sequel - 7.62!

  If this is the spiritual successor to Jagged Alliance 2, things don't bode well for JA3.
