dragons, gods and all the fun stuff
when most people think capcom, they think 'street fighter' or 'mega man' but. when i think capcom, it's definatly Breath of Fire III.
there is so much to this game, it scares me.
the music in this game is amazing.
the graphics are definatly surprising. it's 2-dimensional sprites, on 3-dimensional maps and it's very well done, i cant put into words what i felt about this game correctly.
the big thing about this game is the grandure of it all, and the size of it all, and the amount of discs it is on that surprised me.
you start off the game as a little kid who finds out he's a dragon, and everyone is out to kill him, you meet up with some people, and this one guy (who you think is your friend) takes you to this place and tries to kill you. you lose. but then...this is about 1/2 to 3/4 the way through the game btw, you wake up, and your older, your friends are all gone and your alone, you go and find them all and you keep going on the journey you started but there is so much storey in between and mini games and things i cant do it justice.
but. the gametime, currently in my game its at forty hours. or more. and its on ONE DISC! a whole childhood, growing up, dragon transformations, huge world, the story, on ONE DISC, it's insane, that capcom could do this, games that are awesome and long are usually on at least 2-3, final fantasy 7 was 3, chrono cross was 2. and they all had like 40-45 hours of gameplay, but BoF3 put it all on one disc and im scred to know how. because its just so good.
in conclusion, one of my favorite games ever. very well done, im tired right now and cant focus enough to review properly, but this game, is gold.
