It is ironic that the first platformer that I play is as original as this. Actually no, it is the second one after Elasto Mania, which was very original too and I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already.

But back to the point - I feel Braid is being glorified too much and undeservedly so. It has a beautiful hand painted world and a very addictive gameplay yes, but it has its flaws too, the biggest being that some of the puzzles are too hard, and I'm not sure I will solve them, although I haven't invested too much time in it yet and don't have much left to slove, but in case I give up I won't look up solutions on the net, because I see no point in doing that.

Another flaw that is very minor but personally gets on my nerves is the pointless 'story'. The Braid site says that this game has no filler - every puzzle is original - and that is truth, but if this game's 'story' is not filler then I don't know what is.

The looping music is nice at first but it gets old soon and I wanted to listen to something cheerier, thankfully I could play winamp in background.

Conclusion - next time get a decent writer or don't bother with a story at all LOL Elasto Mania didn't have a story, but did it suffer from that? Nou.
