Don't bother with this boring, ugly, bland action-adventure game.
The controls of the game are some of the worst I've ever experienced, they are so bad I can't even explain it. To understand it you have to play it, and trust me, you don't want to. Even if you get the game for free, you should throw it in the garbage can, because that's where it belongs.
The graphics are horrible, some neat-looking character models, and everything else just looks horrid. Bland textures, dull character models, bad voice-acting, everything is bad.
The animations are also terrible, they look stiff and sluggish. Absolutely nothing exciting about it, except being able to do some bloodsucking, there's near nothing to enjoy.
If you were hoping for an action-adventure capturing the thrilling experience of being a vampire you're going to be disappointed, you're better of playing through Halo one more time, that's how bad it is.
If you're still thinking of giving it a shot, take my advice and don't. Instead, you should buy Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, that is the perfect chance to be able to live the life of a vampire.
It has some quirky bugs and shortcomings but there are unofficial patches to fix them.
There's not much more to say, the game is quite possibly the worst action-adventure I've ever played.
Bottom line is don't bother with this game, your money is worth more than buying garbage.
