This is one of the most underrapprecited titles in recent history.

User Rating: 9.8 | Blood Will Tell: Tezuka Osamu's Dororo PS2
This game proves to be more than just a routine button masher and should be remembered as one of the most under-appreciated titles of all time. All usual aspects that a game is graded on (graphics, sound, story, controls) are excellent. Where this game did not get enough credit is innovation.
This game utilized God of War style boss battle combos before God of War got all of the praise for doing so. The epic bosses, which are beautifully designed, are one of the best parts of the game.
The story, in which a sacred child must fight to regain body parts stolen at birth by demons, is one of a kind. The fact that all of the body parts regained add to the character’s overall abilities make them seem that much more important. The upgradeable body parts and assortment of collected weapons make the game very compelling and make progress more rewarding than in normal collection based gameplay.
This game has all of the hack n’ slash fun anyone could ask for, mixed with an epic story worthy of any RPG.
Even people who think samurai games are way overproduced would be pleased with this title.
Great action, memorable characters, and a great story make this game a must have for any action fan. A true bargain bin gem that did not get nearly as much praise as it deserved.
