This game has an amazing potential (BETTER THAN RYSE)

I played a hundred of games.80 percent of them ı did not finish.The best game ı ever played is MAX PAYNE (2001). I finished it 6 times.Second game ı played much is BLADE OF DARKNESS.I finished it 5 times and can't finished it 4 times:))))) Third game ı played much is the first half life (1998) game.I finished it 3 times.Anyway.When ı played MAX PAYNE ı never think how can this game be better.Because it is perfect.it can not be done better.But although ı played 9 times BOD ı think a lot times how can this game be better.How can be much realistic.Therefore we can see the tremendous potential of the BOD.The power of the BOD is this.

Rebel act studios made this game.Rebel Act Studios were a game studio founded in 1996 from Spain.They only made BOD.Studio closed.BOD is a very bloody game.You chop limbs like a butcher.in Spain there are bull fights.matador kills the bull with a very horrible and sadistic manner.At Spain it is very normal.When ı first saw a bull fight ı frightened with horror.I never want to see it again.I never saw a sadistic thing like this.I am a Muslim.And we slaughter cow,sheep and other animals at festival of the sacrifice.it is a religious act.I think slaughtering a bull at a arena is different.When we cut a sheep or a cow throat we wait until he dies.He dies in 5 minute.anyway Spanish peoples like gore.And it is not a coincidence that BOD was made by rebel act.I like to learn Spanish very much.I never have any hate to Spanish peoples.I only say a reality related to BOD and Spanish culture.At BOD some enemies are minotaur. I like gore and realism at games.it is a simulation of war ı think.When a head cut of and squirts blood at game it is only realism not a sadism ı think.

I will write my opinions about the modifications and developments of BOD.First of all ı must start with the lock system.it is the heart of BOD.But it can be perfect.Why are we only lock to the enemies body and why only totally all body.We can select partial body parts.if our enemy has an armor at his right arm we can lock to left arm or to any body part less armor has.We can lock other 2 damageable parts of the enemy too.What are they.First is the armor of the enemy.Second one is the weapon of the enemy.if we attack a weapon we can block an attack or can break a damaged weapon.the weapons must interact with each other like the real life.At BOD ı am very angry with the unbroken weapons.if we attack a wall the sword can't take damage.(and its sharpness must be decrease) it ruins the tactical potential of the game.if we evade an attack and enemy strikes to wall.His sword can take damage or because of the possibility of the getting strike to the wall,our enemy AI must not attack to us.Or vice verse.And when we block an attack our weapons must take damage.Barbarian blocks but timing is very tricky.

I think there must be some limb injures at the game.if we injured our left arm we cant use it for blocking with shield or our left arm can be cut off and we still live with this injury.The health system is broke some sort.it can be much sophisticated.All limb must be apart from other.All limb must has a different health point.so if our left leg health point reduce to 50 percent we must be lame.and walking and running animations can be change.it makes the game very cool and fantastic ı think.So if we lame we cant run or walk fast.and some combos cant done.When we finish the game never change anything.we only play with another character.Every finish it must open some game developments like blood loss death or limb injuries like.

There is only 3 challenge in the game to win a fight.First is the hit point of the enemy (shields have hit points). Second is the attack of the enemy.Third is the block of the enemy.Plus there must be the hit point of his sword and his armor.And there must be loss of blood in the game.if we loss much blood our dexterity or strength must be decrease.When a sword breaks it must not be the end.We can repair it some secret places that we found hammer and fire there.So we can repair or develop it.And when we attack a wooden wall some weapons must stuck to the wall like an arrow.And if we love very much a weapon we must can endow it other weapons combos when we develop it.We can develop a weapon with good metals we find at the game.The metal we used can be a sword, a shield or something.Every Role playing games we develop our characters.Why cant we develop our weapons.This must be the idea of BOD.

This game is the most flexible game ı ever played (maybe). it is like football.At football never resembles any goal to another.When ı played with barbarian.I blocked.My sword broken and the broken part jumped.Then stroked to the enemy.Enemy died.I was almost dying but my rival died.it is also not anticipated by the programmers of the game ı think.At BOD fights not resembles one another (maybe). Every fights are unique (maybe). All enemies always makes same attacks.its repetitive.But each enemy has 4 or 5 different attack variations.their actions change to what you make.Fight places,weapons,shields change the situations.

Visuals of the game are superb.Over its time but ı must say something about the shadows.Shadows are mind blowing at its release date but not used effective at the game ı think.When playing with Sargon at opening level shadows are talking.Shadows are fantastic.( sargons opening level is a bit different.this level issued as a demo.includes much better characteristics compare to other levels of the game ı think.Has a boss for example.level design is well thought of and fighting places are very good considered) But other levels you can't see the shadows potential thorough the game.Although the name of the game says darkness it not demonstrate its potential.very sad.I wish the game be more darker.but it is more lighter.Game engine handle fantastic shadows but the programmers don't put the feast to our dinner table.

Game physics are used very efficient.when ı played crysis (2007) and half life 2 (2004) ı never feel a sense like there is a physics.When ı played BOD ı feel physics.it is not a floss.When you cut off a head.The head flies like a bird,runs down from the stairs like a snake and squirts the blood everywhere.When you play all floss,all void half life 2 you kill enemies like plastic toys.it makes not any sense.At BOD physics are everywhere.Because of this reason you feel your sword like you really using it.A lot of things broken into pieces at the game.When you broke a shield at fight you say YES this is physic.

Game controls are frustrating.if you will play first time BOD.You will frustrate from the controls.do not panic.Change all the controls.When ı play BOD ı change all the controls for my wish.if you use original controls you will frustrate.I make block mouse right button for example.

if a new BOD comes to our darkness,mortal and miserable game machines ı want some changes at game dynamics.For example.When we kill an enemy we are gaining hit points.it is very ridiculous.in my opinion the hit point must not change through the game.we can find good shields and armors so we can handle more attacks.We can develop our weapons and shields.Not our character dexterity ,strength etc.So if our limb without armor takes damage we can die or take an injury.But it must be by chance.When an opponent takes damage and injures his limb opponent must drops his shield or weapon.injured limbs must not use effectively.We must think when we attack.Our attack must not damage the opponents shield if we like it or want to get the shield.So we can only attack to head or somewhere.Poisoning must temporarily decrease our strength and dexterity.Hungry,thirst,fatigue and blood loss must decrease our strength and dexterity too.so we cant do some combos or not use weapons effectively.Every attack and combo must leach from the fatigue bar.So we must attack efficiently or find lots of bread,water and supply.At BOD first levels when we eat bread and cheese it is very effective to get life but after the game progress it makes nothing to life because it is very small amount then you only use potions.I think the developers want to add a lot of opinions but for some reason didn't apply it to game.So what is the meaning of the useless bread or cheese.I think the game released lame with hasty.Their money exhaust ı think.At game you can see the supply list with efficiency of each one and there is a plant you never encounter at the game.

At BOD we saw two bar at the upper left corner.one is strength other is hit point.I think it must be like this.No hit point bar instead of it must be a blood bar.You can see your blood loss there.Another bar must be fatigue bar.Strength and dexterity must connect to fatigue.Our character must not gain dexterity,stamina or strength throughout the game.When you use a shield or a weapon there must be a bar for them too.A bar for their hit point.Humans not have hit points they have blood.All body parts must have a wellness so when your left leg wellness reduce to %70 for example your strength for this muscle must decrease.it must not be related to the fatigue.it is a deformation.so your weapon usage efficiency must decrease.Your weapons attack hit point can be decay.So combos and attacks makes less damages. When game progress and you lost your shield, weapon or armors.You must play this game with stealth until you gain good armors and weapons.weapon,armor and shield weight must affect our fatigue too.We must not attack with a heavy weapon repeatedly.At BOD it is very good applied But it can be develop.Life potions must be stay.life potions are very fun at the game ı think.You can drink them for blood loss.İt is a game.You never transfer blood.When reality ends game starts.When game starts we must practice reality ı think.

I am a bit crazy with Blade Of Darkness ı think.Anyway ı write my opinions about the modifications and developments of the BOD .if you say these will make the game harder and harder.it must be.We love BOD for the challenge and the realism.We can wear chain pullover or leather things to protect our skin.At new BOD there must be a hundreds of shields and armors.And some shields and weapons must have special combos.This modifications ı say above makes BOD 10 times re playable.Challenge to fun.Gaming must not be easy.Must be logic and realistic.

Last thing to say.New BOD must be a bit linear like old BOD.Being linear is not so bad for some points.For BOD being linear is good ı think.

NOTE:I must make a confession.I suppose BOD was unique but ı was mistaken. I am very disappointed and surprised.The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time (1998) and Die By The Sword (1998) are very resemble to BOD. The first PRINCE OF PERSIA (1989) is the first dungeon hack and slash ı think.With this respect its a predecessor of the BOD too. if these predecessors did not exist I think there was not a good BOD like this.But it is not a shame for BOD.Visuals,physics, musics (musics are wonderful.ı get someones and listen at my mp3 player.ı shorten someones and make them windows sounds) and some of the game elements are unique.I had given 9.5 to BOD.I must revise this reward.This game deserves 8.5 (ı gave this point for 2011.For 2001 this is 10+++) And changed my classification to highly addictive from the revolutionary.
