It was good, but I have played better games.

First off, I was uncertain about asking for this for Xmas, but I wasn't disappointed when I started playing this. Ok, it may not have been as good as WarioWare:Twisted which my bro got for Xmas but it was still worth it.

If you're a real game freak then you could complete this game fast, on the other hand if you're new to gaming then you could be stuck in one level for a while. I myself only completed it in a matter of days. There is a reason that this game got it's title, because when you start playing it, it's sort of like a maze, and you have to complete puzzles. But those don't come near to the battles. In the battles you face rahi, taking turns fighting like an RPG game. You have certain types of disks like weaken disks and enlarge disks, you also have tool powers and mask powers and also items, defending, ect. There are in total six long levels and you can switch from Toa to Toa whenever you feel like it. All in all the gameplay is good, apart from the fact that unfortunatly the re-playability is not very good.

Unlike Mario whose graphics are simple, Bionicles graphics are strong, similar to the Lord of the Rings graphics if you've ever played those games. Yes, the graphics are grainy, but not enough to annoy you, it's more detailed than grainy so you don't have to worry about them.

The music could have been better but it's still alright. Sometimes if you don't pass the levels quick enough the music can get irritating, but the possibilities of that isn't to large. The music in the game isn't all like the music in the bionicle website, it's all made up music just incase you were wondering if it had the typical bionicle music.

The story is... ok,as you could put it. Not the best, but not bad. Then again, the story is not about the gameplay so it really doesn't need to be good, at least in my opinion. The story is unlike any other bionicle story/movie/novel because you're Toa Metru struggling to get out of the underworld of Mata-Nui.

Like most GBA games the controls are simple and easy and can be learned in 10 or less minutes. Bionicles controls are very easy to learn and can save you from constantly tapping buttons in battle, and controlling Ga-Metru disks are easy when you get the hang of it. But controls are controls, having very good controls doesn't make the game itself any better (mabye sometimes) but its always good to have good controls.

Rent it, buy it. it doesn't matter what you do, I'm not a police officer!
