One of the best remakes on XBLA. This is how remakes should be made. Its a remake game, it should be judged as such.

Bionic Commando for the NES was a classic in its own right. No other game in its time featured that kind of mechanic and gameplay. The XBLA remake makes justice to that, and at the same time brings better graphics, new weapons, bigger and better bosses, and new elements to the gameplay while at the same time keeping it close to what made the NES game a classic.

I didn't have any trouble with the controls. It takes a little getting used to at first, but before you now it you'll forget about it and it will come natural to you...just like in the old games of the 8bit era.

The new additions to the game make it feel as a full fledge game. You can't help but think how this might have been how the original developers wanted the first one to be.

This is the best $10 can give you, and I think it will be a long time before another game that gives you so much for so little again.
