BF:BC delivers excellent multiplayer combat, while lacking the "touch" that makes single player interesting.

Honestly, this is the first battlefield game that I've played, I knew the concept of previous battlefield games, and felt somewhat attracted to it, however after watching the trailers of the characters of this game, I felt compelled to buy it (and Platinum Edition delivered).

What really caught my attention was the multiplayer, perhaps there are not too many modes (just two) but both of them are great, the weapons are great, the unlock and ranking system will keep you sticked to your couch trying to level up so you can unlock that cool laser-guided missile for your sniper class, or that annoying mortar strike for your support class.

Yes you can experience a true battlefield (hence the name of the series) on the multiplayer. Maps are varied and changing, it'll be difficult to stay in the same spot for too long, if it's a building it can (and it will) be destroyed, so cover is not as cracked as in many other FPS games.

The availability of vehicles makes this even more interesting, you can use tanks, jeeps, APC, hell, even a chopper, but the multiplayer is so well-balanced that the games gives you the means to destroy this vehicles (while not making it easier to do so).

All in all, the multiplayer is the real reason this game should be played. The campaign is a bit too-easy, when you die you will re spawn indefinitely so not much of a challenge there, the story is funny enough, the cast is awesome (Haggard being my personal favorite) but the single player campaign could seriously do with a bit more of work.

Excellent game for every FPS fan out there a must buy! Perhaps you will spend less time campaigning and more time on multiplayer (which was the true purpose of the game).

Thanks for reading this review.
