Due to recently purchasing this game for the upcoming sequel I figured I should review this game to let people know about the first game if they should go back to catch up on the storyline as well. First, I love battlefield games so this is not me stating my hatred for their games because i really don't hate them. I thought this game had many problems with it starting with the controls. They are just weird instead of switching weapons with Y you use RB and the knife attack is used by Y. It took some getting used to, but i got the hang of it. The major problem i saw with this game was the spawn system. In the campaign, if you die you respawn back at a designated spot chosen by the computer. When ever you complete an objective or get to an area the computer sees fit it will create a spawn location so if you die you go back there. Here in lies the problem, if you are say storming a building on a hill and you come at it from the wrong side the computer doesn't care that is where you will spawn. And when you find out you spend 15 minutes going all the way back around and make it to the top. And then guess what, you get sniped by some sniper from nowhere or knifed by an enemy that just appeared and you are all the way back down the hill on the other side 15 minutes away. Yeah. Sounds like fun right. Other than that the story line is pretty good for what it is. So in conclusion, if you can get used to the controls, past the stupid spawn system, and the enemies that kill you from nowhere this is actually an okay game. Most of these problems are mainly just from this game starting to be outdated as compared to modern shooters.
