This game is definitely one to add to the collection!
What comes in the Box: One disc containing the Battlefield 2 Game, Special Forces Expansion and both the Armored Fury and Euro Force booster packs and necessary manuals.
Let me start off by saying do not bother buying the Complete Collection and instead the Battlefield 2 Deluxe Edition, I'm only saying this because the two booster packs have now become free in the new patch along with some cool new features.
I will now state the Pros and Cons of the game in review:
The Pros:
- Excellent Value for Money, this game will keep you entertained for hours.
- It has reached a bargain bin price, so there are no excuses for not owning this game.
- Special Forces Expansion adds a whole new depth to the game.
- Excellent Gun, Tank and Ambient sounds.
- Decent graphics.
- Addictive Online Gameplay, possibly the best I have ever encountered.
- Involving and innovative level design.
- Loads of weapons to choose from.
- The new commander menu allows you to designate airstrikes, supply drops and UAV scans at the click of a button.
- New squad feature allows for some tactical thinking.
- The AI actually respond to commands unlike the previous Battlefield games.
The Cons:
- Ranking up online is confusing to say the least.
- Removed the ability to change the singleplayer game settings.
- AI is pretty stupid when it comes to combat.
