Batman Returns is just another example of a time when movie games were actually pretty good

When I first played this game back in the day, I was super psyched! I was a little tyke (or however you spell it) and this was my first time playing a Batman game, which seemed like the coolest thing back then. Overall the game was a beat em up with nothing new to bring to the table. The game gave me a hard time, but I was in awe of being able to play as Batman. I look back at the game now and I realize that it is actually still a pretty decent movie based game. Even though the levels really dont seem to have a lot to do with the movie, the levels are tied together with text that will seem framiliar to those who have seen the movie. Im not too much of a Batman fan these days, but the game was and still is pretty decent, even though no game could get away with the gameplay these days (see my review for Family Guy The Game). There is some fun to be had here and Batman Returns is just anotther example of a time when movie games were actually pretty good.
