This 2 Player game was better than the Sega Genesis version!!

User Rating: 7.5 | Batman Forever SNES
I used to love Batman as a child! I used to always love watching the movies and the television series. Then, I came across a Batman video game when I was little by my cousin. He and I used to play this together for like an hour. We had fun, after all! I was very excited about it. I could not wait to hurry up play it!

Story: 7/10
- If you have seen the movie, Batman Forever, and then you will know the storyline. Batman basically teams up with a sidekick now, called Robin, and they do battle with Two-Face and his gang as well as The Riddler and his gang.

Gameplay: 7/10
- Man, they made the gameplay exactly like that of Mortal Kombat, but I am more used to the Super Nintendo controller! The player plays as either Batman or Robin. There is also a fighting game mode called Training Mode; where the player can play as Batman, Robin, or any of the enemies found throughout the game against either a computer-controlled opponent, against a second player, or cooperatively against two computer opponents. The controls are largely based on move lists and key sequences. Some gadget moves involve moving away from the enemy right before pressing a punch or kick button, which creates problems since the game only keeps the players facing enemies if they're close enough to each other.

Graphics: 8/10
- The graphics are good; everything does not look dark looking like the Sega Genesis version because Super Nintendo's capabilities have the brighter colors!

Sound: 8/10
- All the sound effects of the game are better than the Sega Genesis version, everything is clearer! The music is a lot better on this version!

Overall, I give this game a 7 1/2 out of 10 because this one was a little better than the Sega Genesis version.
