I had always wanted to play the Batman: Arkham games. When I got Batman: Arkham City, I was totally excited. My excitement was definitely worth it. The graphics on this game are amazing. Sometimes it almost looks like you're living through the game. Like you are Batman. This game hooks you right from the start with a superb storyline. There are many twists and turns and never bores you. I loved the voice acting, and am hoping they will return in a sequel after Arkham Origins. Once you finish the game, you can just restart on a higher difficulty. But it never gets too hard. The game has just the right amounts of rage-inducing moments before you acheive victory. The controls for the controller are simple to follow and easy to pick up if you haven't played for a while. The free world is very fun to explore, and the side missions in the game are great. They also introduce villains not in the main story. The combat is amazing, with many gadgets at your disposal. It always puts a smile on your face to make Silent Takedowns by sneaking up on your enemies. The only bad thing is that they could have had more boss battles in the main story, and those that were there already need a little twerking. Overall, great visual design, amazing plot, terrific voice acting, and all-in-all, a fantastic game.
