Everything here is true except for the action-packed part. In the gaem you play etheir a single game or a season, which you'll porbably end up playing. You can pick from a BY team or a real team. You then pick your home rink, i think (havnt played for awhile). Then you pick your five or six team members. The players can be BY players, pros (which are cheap :)), and I think you can make one player (which has a limit so they can't be super powered). You play through the season adn hope you make it to and win the championship. The gameplay is simple. You click the person you want to pass to and click on the goal to shoot. The graphics are the best in the BY series to me. The A.I. is not very smart so you can score much per game and not really have to ever worry about losing. Well that is about it.
