A great melding between Telltale and the Back To The Future series.

User Rating: 8.5 | Back to the Future: The Game - Episode I: It's About Time PC
I've been a fan of Back To The Future from the time I took my girlfriend of the time to see it. That girlfriend and I just celebrated our silver anniversary, so anything related to BTTF is like time travel for me.

Hot on the heals of the Blu-ray release of the film trilogy, we're given the first of five chapters in Telltale's adventure based on the characters from the movie. I don't want to give anything away, other than the events take place after the the film series in 1986. The story is original, and there is some tongue in cheek references to the movies, but this game is a stand alone that is told using the typical Telltale point and click adventure. If you've played the Monkey Island, Sam & Max chapter type games, you'll feel instantly at home.

So if you're familiar with Telltale games, you won't be expecting state of the art graphics and / or production values. The game does run at 1920 X 1080 and is not really hard on the eyes. Christopher Lloyd is back as the voice of Doc Emmit Brown. Michael J Fox's likeness has been used, but his voice is not. Though if you didn't know it, you'd swear it was him, (having been driven to the studio in a time machine.) The voice actor does an incredible (I was going to say M. J. Fox), Marty McFly. It's almost scary.

I finished the first chapter in a couple of sittings and now eagerly await Chapter 2. This seems to be the perfect way to have another BTTF adventure.
Highly recommended for Telltale and Back To The Future fans.
