Assassin's Creed: Retirement!?

User Rating: 5 | Assassin's Creed: Revelations X360
Assassin's Creed Revelations is simply put, the worst entry in the series. I can't even play it, I get too annoyed with all the mundane crap they make Ezio go through. And that's all this is, mundane. For the first 2 hours of the game all I did was learn how to "craft" or watch cutscenes about some blah blah boring crap. I got nothing from the story. Altair's sequences are incredibly short, the parkour, which is the major draw of the games, is completely broken. Most buildings are so broken apart or spaced out that smoothly traversing them in a race or escape is near impossible. Guards see you and chase almost automatically, and now they have guns, so running is almost impossible. You have to stay and fight, so they send in all juggernaut types after you which slows combat down to a crawl, making it nothing but a frustrating, boring mess. Oh, and let's not forget, Ive logged about 8 hours into the game so far...not once have I done an actual assassination mission. This entire game should have been broken down into a smaller expansion for Brotherhood. Then it would have been fun. As a full game, it's too spread out, too convoluted and too boring. Sorry Ubisoft, you definitely let me down on this one. Assassin's Creed 3 better have some ninjas or something to make up for this crap.

I LOVED the first 3 games. I did. Couldn't put them down. This one, however, is a complete disappointment. I attempt to beat it every day but I get extremely annoyed with how they took almost every good thing out of the game in exchange for some story elements and useless bomb making.
