Comments

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom True Treasure quest is somewhat well-hidden. You'll need to find a particular cave, where you'll also meet someone who needs your help to cross an underground river. Here's our guide to help you solve the True Treasure Shrine Quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to solve the True Treasure Shrine Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom True Treasure Shrine Quest can be started in the Lanayru Great Spring zone. Basically, you'll want to go to the eastern peninsula that has the Kidney/Secret Stone Geoglyph. Once there, head to the southern tip, where you're likely to spot a Blupee. Follow it, and you'll find an opening that leads to Tarm Point Cave.

At the bottom of the cavern, you'll meet up with Sasan. He says that he got separated from his pal, Finley, and you need to help him cross the underground river. This begins the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom True Treasure Shrine Quest.

Sasan wants to use the nearby wooden raft. However, he's also easily spooked by sudden actions. Likewise, the water level keeps rising and falling, leading to more challenges.

Before you have Sasan board the raft, we suggest attaching a Zonai Fan and Steering Stick. These will help immensely as, otherwise, the raft will only move via its sails. At the very least, the Zonai Device would give you additional control and speed.

When you're ready, talk to Sasan and have him board the raft. There are also a couple of tidbits to remember:

  • Sasan is afraid of falling - That means you have to use Ultrahand to bring the raft down to the water as gently and as flat as possible. Don't tilt it accidentally. If you do, Sasan will panic and you'll be back at the starting area.
  • Sasan is afraid of drowning - Take note of the water levels. If it gets too high and the positioning is wrong, or if you accidentally got grounded on a stalagmite, the raft could partially sink. As usual, Sasan will panic, and you'd have to restart.

There are portions of the underground cave where the boat will get stuck due to stalagmites. The good news is that Link can disengage from the controls, then hop on top of a pillar. This will let you use Ultrahand to realign or move the raft. Also, take note of the small opening with breakable rocks, as there's a Bubbulfrog inside.

With a bit of luck and patience, you should be able to help Sasan cross all the way to the opposite bank. This will complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom True Treasure quest. Sasan and Finley will give you an Opal for your troubles.

Likewise, you'll be right next to the Yomizuk Shrine. This only has a Rauru's Blessing. As such, you can just open the chest for a Diamond, and interact with the terminal to receive a Blessing of Light. In any case, don't forget to take a look at our Shrine locations main guide for the other challenges that you can tackle.
