TOKYO--Taito has announced that it will port Falcom's Ys: The Ark of Napishtim to mobile phones in Japan. The company will also release a remake of the original Ys from 1987, which will be reengineered with a 3D graphic engine and come with additional maps and scenarios. Both games will be hitting NTT's 900i and 901i series phones starting March 22.
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim was released for the PlayStation 2 in America last month. A PSP edition is also coming out this year.
