It's the little movie that could. New Mutants, the X-Men horror movie that's been "upcoming" for what seems like as long as comic book movies have been a thing, has resurfaced once more. The cast of the film is coming to San Diego Comic-Con@Home!

Along with the announcement came a new look at the film, which introduces the mutants you'll meet when it finally hits theater--or digital release or DVD or however we'll finally get to see this awesome-looking movie. The official description of New Mutants calls it "an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive."

The mutants in the film haven't been featured in the X-Men franchise yet, but chances are you'll be learning a lot more about them at Comic-Con@Home, because the cast will be participating. The panel, which happens July 23 at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET, will include stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga, as well as director Josh Boone.

This is really the only Marvel movie, if you can call it that, scheduled for Comic-Con@Home thus far. While Hulu's Helstrom, which is based on a Marvel Comics property, will be showcased, there's been no word about whether the Marvel Cinematic Universe will play a role in the event.

San Diego Comic-Con@Home takes place Wednesday, July 22, through Sunday, July 26.
