End of the road.

Comments

As it does each month, Microsoft is set to remove more titles from the Xbox Game Pass library soon. Four titles are leaving the catalog in mid-December, Microsoft has announced.

Titles set for removal include Chained Echoes, Opus Magnum, Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator, and Rubber Bandits, all of which are getting dumped from the catalog on December 15.

Now Playing: Introducing Xbox Game Pass Core

Microsoft did not provide any explanation for why these games are leaving. It's common for games to get axed for any number of reasons, including a business deal coming to an end, licensing issues, and any number of other possibilities.

The good news is that if you're currently playing and enjoying any of the titles set for removal, you can buy them outright for 20% off as part of your Game Pass membership perks.

In terms of titles coming to Game Pass in December, it's a big month, with 12 games headed to the catalog in the first half of the month. Xbox Game Pass Core members are getting new games, too.

In other Game Pass news, Xbox executive Tim Stuart recently said Microsoft wants to bring Game Pass to PlayStation and Nintendo devices.
