Xbox will roll out a new Friends and Community Updates channel in the app for Xbox Insiders who are in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings.

The Friends and Community Updates section is on the Home Page and displays the activity of, as you may suspect, your friends. You'll see their achievements and activity, as well as posts from official clubs and games that you follow. You can share stuff by clicking on “Got something to share?"

Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings are invite-only and get builds earlier than other members of Xbox Insiders. If you're interested in joining either, Xbox asks you to fill out an interest survey. Inside the Xbox Insider hub, click on Activities, Available, and then the Joining New Rings section. As for how Xbox chooses among those interested, it says, "We look at a variety of factors like high-quality submitted feedback, quest/survey participation, and playing games."

In related Xbox news, April's Xbox Games With Gold are Out of Space: Couch Edition and Peaky Blinders: Mastermind. Xbox Game Pass is also getting Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly and Minecraft Legends as day one releases in April.
