Xbox 360 free game promotion Games with Gold to continue indefinitely
No word on whether Xbox One will be included in the promotion.
Xbox Live Gold free Xbox 360 games promotion Games With Gold will continue indefinitely, Microsoft has said.
When the scheme was unveiled, the publisher only confirmed that it would run until the end of 2013.
Microsoft has not commented on whether its Games With Gold promotion will carry over to the Xbox One when it launches on November 22, however.
Xbox Live Gold members are given the chance to download two free titles a month, with one game available from the 1st to the 15th of each month, and the second game available from the 16th onwards.
The promotion is currently offering Halo 3, and has previously featured the likes of Fable III, Assassin's Creed II, Crackdown, Rainbow Six: Vegas, and Dead Rising 2.
Microsoft added Games with Gold titles have been played for over 120 million hours by users.
