The Samoan Submission Machine is ready to choke out the Autobots. WWE Raw superstar Samoa Joe has announced he'll be lending his voice to a new Transformers animated series. This should not be confused with the Bumblebee movie that will feature Joe's fellow WWE wrestler, John Cena.

As first revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Joe will play Decepticon Predaking in Transformers: Power of the Primes, the final installment of the Prime Wars trilogy being produced by Hasbro and Machinima. The series, which airs on the go90 streaming service, is going all-out for the final part of the trilogy, lining up a rather impressive voice cast.

Predaking is a Decepticon combiner, which brings together the five Predacon Transformers to create one massive robotic warrior. Joining Joe will be Star Wars: The Last Jedi star Mark Hamill and former Sons of Anarchy lead Ron Perlman in bringing the Transformers to life. Hamill will voice Megatronus--the first Decepticon--while Perlman plays Optimus Primal.

While both characters will play major roles in Power of the Primes, Megatronus has actually already debuted in the universe. Hamill's voice first appears in the final episode of Transformers: Titans Return, the series that leads to Power of the Primes. Other voice actors of note include Wil Wheaton as Perfector, Judd Nelson as Rodimus Cron, and Jamie King as Solus Prime.

Transformers: Power of the Primes is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2018, bringing the Prime Wars trilogy to a close.
