It's rumble season!

We're just two days away from the start of Wrestlemania season, which kicks off with WWE's January PPV, Royal Rumble. The 2019 event will feature not one but two over-the-top battle royal matches where 30 competitors will fight to be the last man or woman standing, in order to gain the prize of a championship match on the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania.

When it comes to the Royal Rumble PPV, the card for the WWE event is changing, since we're still a few weeks out. Most recently, Braun Strowman was taken out of the picture for the Universal Championship and replaced with Finn Balor, a former champ who had to vacate the belt because of injury. Now, Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the US Championship has been added as well. You can get a look at what might happen with our Royal Rumble 2019 predictions.

Now Playing: 5 Craziest Royal Rumble Entrants

This year's Royal Rumble is coming to PPV and the WWE Network live on Sunday, January 27 at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT, with a Kickoff Show starting two hours prior. Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona will host the event, and you can still pick up tickets if you're interested. Single tickets are going for as cheap as $36 as of this writing, but the prices will fluctuate as we get closer to the event.

While it's still a couple weeks away, there are currently eight matches on the card, and there could be a few more added, two of which should be on the Kickoff Show. There is plenty to be excited about for this year's PPV. Aside from both the men's and women's rumble matches, which are the most fun thing WWE produces every year, Becky Lynch gets a rematch for the Smackdown Women's Championship against Asuka.
