Strategy First has announced that it has shipped World War II Online: Blitzkrieg, its massively multiplayer tactical combat game. The game lets players take part in one of the most influential wars of the 20th century. Players can command vehicles such as tanks and aircraft, or they can fight as infantry soldiers. The game will begin in Western Europe in 1940, and additional combat theaters including North Africa, China, Burma, India, and the Russian front in 1941 will be added later.

World War II Online was developed by Cornered Rat Software, and it will soon arrive in stores for a suggested retail price of $39.99 and a monthly subscription rate of $9.99. For more information, take a look at our in-depth previews of the game. We'll post a full review of the game soon.
