Witcher 3 DLC Leaks Early, Dev Warns Against Downloading It

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was not supposed to get any new DLC this week, but that's exactly what happened. This content, which online reports reveal to be a new outfit for Ciri, was released ahead of schedule, developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed.

The Polish studio now warns against downloading the DLC--Ciri's Zerrikanian outfit--because it "wasn't ready." And, as with any pre-release software, it might contain issues that could hurt your experience.

Though The Witcher 3's DLC campaign is taking this week off, CD Projekt Red plans to release at least three more free add-ons in the weeks to come.

Ciri's new outfit will follow previously released alternate attire for Geralt, Yennefer, and Triss.

@Diesel95: Terrible in what sense? It's more or less like Dark Souls'. It's all about positioning, learning animations, when to attack and when to dodge.

@sk1dmarkz: Are you being a troll?! Firstly it's based on Polish idealism and the idea of woman being slutty doesn't exist as equality of men and woman deems that men and woman are free to sleep around without judgment. Also as mentioned if you read the books Ciri has more than few sexual encounters and strong female role models (Yenefer example) actually plays Geralt off against another suiter (like a player).

@warwickknight: Probably some clipping-bugs with the clothing under particular circumstances like running up a staircase or a missing fur-version in the colder areas of the game they tend to wear normally.

In all honestly i prefer the standard Ciri clothes; i really hope in future they're not gonna make a crap campaign with a food company, maybe such as red bull, giving a special dlc code on the can… it would be terribly embarrassing...

But luckily the game doesn't need such poor marketing maneuver considering the quality of it.

@nothingformoney: It is really funny CD Projekt Red say it isn't ready and I fire it up and it works pretty much perfectly.

If that was any other developer my PS4 would have caught fire or something. Their standards are clearly much much higher than any other developer.

@deathjumps: I haven't. I wouldn't worry about. What CD Projekt Red mean by unfinished is unpolished.

Any other developer unfinished would be the character falls through the map or it corrupts your game file or something.
